President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Adoo on Tuesday 19th April, 2022 visited Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, the Founder and General Overseer of the United Denominations Originating from Lighthouse Group of Churches (UD-OLGC) and family to express his sympathy and condolences on the tragic loss of his son.
Signed on the book of condolence opened for the late Dr David Heward-Mills, President Akufo-Addo wrote; “I came to express the sympathies and condolences of my family and I on this tragic loss. I wish the Bishop and his family the strength, comfort and love of the almighty in this difficult time. May God console and bless the family,”
David Heward-Mills, 31 years and a residence in the in the United States of America was reported to have died after battling a short illness.
The family says funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.
The Lighthouse Chapel has requested the public to respect the privacy of the bereaved family during this challenging period.
